Kabir Kaul is a conservationist and wildlife writer, passionate about London’s biodiversity.

Through writing, broadcasting, public speaking and social media, he raises awareness about the capital’s green spaces and their wildlife, which he calls the ‘Wild Side of London’ – and believes every Londoner has a responsibility to protect it.

In 2017, he started writing his blog, Kaul of the Wild, to share his experiences of watching wildlife in London and further afield. Two years later, aged 13, he completed the first interactive map of all nature reserves and wildlife sites in London.

Kabir has roles in several conservation organisations, such as the RSPB and London National Park City. His work has received frequent media coverage, including from BBC Autumnwatch, The Big Issue, The Observer and The Financial Times.
